If you're searching for some adrenaline, our body rafting in the Alcantara Gorge is just what you're looking for. We will explore this incredible canyon together, carved out of volcanic rock, that has a prismatic shape in some areas due to the fast cooling of the lava when it reached the water. In this amazing environment we will tackle waterfalls, rapids, slides, and jumps, always accompanied by our expert guides. We will also stop at the beautiful Venus Waterfall, where according to legend the goddess came to relax and bathe. Fun and adventure await you!
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at the Agriturismo Valle Alcantara 30 minutes before the start of the activity. Here we will provide you with all the necessary equipment and then go on foot towards the river. Here we will put on our equipment and have a short briefing before entering the water.
- Tour:
In the first part of the tour, we will walk upstream through an impressive basalt gorge. Gradually we will encounter more and more challenging obstacles, such as waterfalls, rapids, and rock walls to overcome. The second part of the tour will be downhill, where we will have fun amidst incredible natural slides and jumps up to 5 metres high.
- Return:
After about two hours of pure fun, we will reach the endpoint, from where we will return to the agritourism with our vehicles.
