Details
Our sunset boat trip to the Sanguinaires Islands offers you an idyllic interlude during your stay in Corsica! Departing from Ajaccio or Porticcio, we will head west, and after 30 minutes of navigation, we will reach our final destination: the island of Mezzu Mare, which is the largest of the Sanguinaires islands. There, we will have 1 hour to discover the island. We advise you to either swim in the turquoise waters around the island or to walk to the highest point to have a panoramic view of the surrounding islands and visit the lighthouse dating from 1870.
Meanwhile, our crew will prepare a delicious aperitif of local specialities and Corsican rosé wine! Afterwards, we will return to our boat and head out to sea to watch the sun set over the Sanguinaires Islands, colouring the volcanic rock blood red, which gave the islands their name. While the sky turns orange-pink, you can also take a swim in the warm, crystal clear waters. At the end of the tour, we will return to the port of departure, where you can visit the towns of Ajaccio or Porticcio by night.
