Your holiday in Liguria will never be the same after this boat trip to Porto Venere. This enchanting village south of the Cinque Terre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of its main attractions is the spectacular church of San Pietro, perched on a rocky promontory. We will discover together the incredible Gulf of Poets, that owes its name to the many writers and poets that fell in love with this place over the centuries. You will be able to swim and snorkel at the most beautiful spots in this gulf, which will be agreed with the skipper according to weather conditions.
We will depart from Lerici or La Spezia with our typical Gozzo, and navigate to the Palmaria, Tino, and Tinetto Islands. On the islands, we will find the "Grotta Vulcanica" of Cala Grande and the stacks of Palmaria. From this point, we will have an incredible view of the pastel-coloured houses of Porto Venere, which we will reach by a short cruise. Once in Porto Venere, you can make a stop ashore if you wish and visit this enchanting little town. We will then navigate around the church of San Pietro and see the Lord Byron's Cave. Heading North, we will also admire the imposing cliffs of this stretch of coast up to Monesteroli, a small village perched on the cliffs and reachable only by steep steps.
Afterwards, we will navigate past the islands in the direction of Tellaro. This seaside village has been mentioned by important Italian poets, and even Percy Shelley lived there! After admiring the sandy beaches of this stretch of coast, we will return to the port of departure, having a unique view of Lerici castle.

Departure & Return
You can choose to depart from Lerici or La Spezia. In Lerici. you will find a multi-storey paid car park 10 minutes away from the centre. In La Spezia, there are some paid car parks just in front of the port. After about 4 hours, we will return to the port of departure. Regardless of where you board the boat, please be at the meeting point 5 minutes before departure.
