Trial Scuba Diving near Heraklion

Would you love to know what lies under the sea? Then, join our trial scuba diving, and discover the abundant flora and fauna of the Cretan Sea! You do not need any previous experience, and all of our lessons are private in groups of two people maximum to ensure maximum safety. During the course, our experienced instructor will teach you the basics of scuba diving and take you to experience the feeling of breathing underwater during your first real dive. You will be amazed by the beauty of the sea life and diving might become your new passion!

Diving area
The dive area is chosen according to the weather conditions each day, but we usually go to Mononaftis or Mades beach. These beaches are perfect for beginners because of their shallow waters but they also have rich marine life and archaeological interest, so there is a lot to see during the dive. The area will never be deeper than 12 metres to ensure maximum safety.

Programme
We meet at our office 30 minutes before the start of the course. Here, we will provide you with all the equipment you need and also give you some safety guidelines for the dive. After the intro session, we will take you to the dive area by car. We start in a shallow zone next to the shore so you can get used to the equipment. Once you are comfortable in the water, we make the first dive at a maximum depth of 5 metres. If you still want more, you can do a second dive at a deeper area of 12 metres! If you complete the two dives, we will return to the office after approximately 6 hours. If you decide to do only the first dive, we will be back in 4 hours.
