PADI Open Water Diver Course in Pernera for Beginners (from 2 participants)

Are you ready for a new adventure that will show you the stunning waters of Cyprus? The PADI Open Water Diver course in Pernera allows you to become a certified diver in 3-4 days, without any previous experience. This course is suitable for anyone over the age of 10 who has always wanted to experience colourful fish and other marine life up close.

You do not need any diving experience to participate in this diving course. To get this certificate you will follow 3 steps: First you go through the theory, then you do your first dives in shallow water, and finally you do the open water dives. Throughout all these steps, our experienced instructors will be there to help and advise you. With the open water dives, you will of course also learn the basics for further safe dives. With a bit of luck, you will encounter an octopus during one of the dives!

The Open Water Diver qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/ 60 feet
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy
- Rent or buy diving equipment in dive centres worldwide

Programme
- eLearning:
If you choose to complete the theoretical part of the course online via the e-learning platform in advance, the practical part of the course starts directly with putting on the equipment and going to the beach. In this case, we will send you the access data as soon as you have registered. Otherwise, you will start your course with a theoretical lesson at our dive centre.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our base at the booked time. If you arrive by car, free parking is available directly at the meeting point. We also offer a free hotel pick-up from Pernera, Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni, which can be arranged after booking. Your instructor will then explain how to use the equipment and give you an introduction to the theory. We do our dives in the "Blue Bay" from the beach. This bay is ideal for beginners as it is very calm, yet bustling with fish and other marine life. You can also tailor your course to suit your plans and spread it over a few days.
