Details
Our boat trip to Piana & Scandola including a stopover in Girolata will take you to see the most beautiful natural nuggets of our Island of Beauty! Departing from Sagone or Cargèse, you will embark on our comfortable and spacious boat, and we will head north to our first destination. On our way to the Scandola reserve, you will be able to see the magnificent Omigna tower that has been overlooking the Mediterranean Sea for over 200 years.
Once in the reserve, we will visit its faults and enter its impressive caves, where you can admire the beauty of the red rock, typical of the Corsican landscapes. Afterwards, we will stop for 2 hours in the picturesque fishing village of Girolata. You can either eat in one of the local restaurants or have a picnic on the beach, and if you're lucky, you might even be joined by the wild cows that have inhabited the village for many years!
Then, we will go back on the boat and cross the gulf of Porto to reach the Calanques of Piana. You will be able to observe magnificent cliffs of volcanic rocks, which shelter rich fauna and flora. Keep your eyes open and your cameras at hand: if we are lucky, we might see a golden eagle! Afterwards, we will head to Capo Rosso or to the cove of Palù, depending on the weather conditions, where you will be able to take a 20-minute swim in the crystal clear waters. Finally, we will return to the port of departure, where you can continue your afternoon with a visit of the village!

Fantastic boat trip exploring the Calanques of Piana and Scandola, as well as the village of Girolata and its cows 🐄 ⛱️
It's a shame the wind didn't allow us to stop for a swim in the "natural pools of Piana"—that's the way the weather is 🙄
The staff were super friendly and pleasant.
I highly recommend this trip 🤩
