Private Ski Touring Guide for All Levels- St. Johann-Alpendorf, Großarl and Werfenweng

With our private ski tour guide, we welcome ski tourers of all levels to explore the Pongau with us. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced ski tourer, there is something for everyone. My team and I will show you the most beautiful tours and help you to perfect your technique.

For our beginners, we require a general level of fitness and moderate skiing skills. So you should have the ability to climb 1-2 hours on the slopes and swing on red runs. We focus on teaching the right technique and offer a structured basic training. A refresher course in snow and avalanche awareness is also part of these guided tours. For advanced ski tourers with prior knowledge of ski touring, we recommend experience of skiing in different types of terrain. In addition, advanced skiers should be fit for 2-3 hours of ascent and approx. 1 hour of descent.

An emergency equipment set (backpack, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) will be provided free of charge if required.

Please bring your own touring backpack with water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, ski goggles and a dry change of clothes. For the tour you also need to bring a helmet, touring skis with bindings and skins, ski touring boots and poles.
