Individual arrangement after completed booking
At our adult ski lessons in Engelberg, it is never too late to start skiing or learn new techniques. From beginners to experts, everyone is welcome to participate. With 82 kilometres of slopes, Engelberg is one of the biggest ski resorts in central Switzerland, offering the right challenge for each skiing level. Beginner skiers will find multiple blue runs to make their first metres on skis. Advanced skiers can look forward to challenging slopes around the Titlis.
In groups of 6 participants maximum, you will be grouped together with same-level skiers to ensure improvement in the most effective way possible. Our beginner lessons let you kick-start on a practice slope to introduce to you the basic techniques of skiing such as gliding, schussing and snowplough. After feeling comfortable with these exercises, you will move on to your first run down a blue slope. For our advanced participants, the program of the lesson consists of refining the stick usage, parallel turns or carving.
Skiing in a group creates a motivating and fun atmosphere and for sure will support you in your learning process. Our ski instructors will still make sure that each participant reaches their individual goals and create group lessons that everyone will benefit from.
On the first day, we meet 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
We individually arrange the meeting point with you according to your preferences. We will contact you after you have placed your booking. If you come by car, there is a car park just a few steps away from our meeting point.
You need to bring your own equipment.
All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. It's not included in the price.
Please note that the lessons only take place with a minimum of 3 participants.

The teacher was so professional. Thank you.
I had a 3-day course. I thought I'd be satisfied if I could ski a little without falling. But, on the 3rd day we were already skiing the blue run/homerun, lower Trübsee! I'm absolutely thrilled!
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
