Private Ski Lessons for Adults of All Levels - Engelberg

Had my first ever ski lesson with Rofi in Engelberg and honestly, it was brilliant! He is super friendly, really patient, and full of positive energy. it made such a difference for a total beginner like me. Being Swiss, he used proper ski terms which was great ‘cause I got to learn a bit of the culture too. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated him taking photos while I was learning! Every minute of the lesson was useful and fun. I’m 100% convinced he’s one of the top instructors in Switzerland!

I was very lucky to have Rolf Jakob as my ski instructor and he was more than great. I started skiing quite late at around 35 and I always had a lot of apprehension and fear. In 3 days, Rolf, in addition to being a great teacher, took the time to explain the technique but he is above all a sports coach who will deploy real mental preparation techniques to make my fears more aware. In 3 days I progressed and I especially enjoyed going down the very vertical slopes of Engelberg.

One step back, two step forwards! Rolf made me identify bad habits I had taken when skiing and which were blocking me from going on steeper slopes. We went back to the basics and at the end of the two hours I was finally comfortable on red slopes :)
