What to Expect

Our kids ski lessons in Pila are ideal for young skiers of all levels. By the end of the course, your children will have learned many new skills and will be looking forward to putting on their boots again and making new descents.

On the first day, groups will be formed according to skill level. To ensure rapid and constant learning, the maximum group size is set at 10. Depending on the assigned category, participants will enrich their skills with different techniques. First timers will be put in the yellow group, all the others will be split into the different colour groups according to the level.

During the week, participants will refine their skills and learn new techniques according to their level:

- Yellow (beginner) levels will learn how to stay on skis

- Green (novice) levels will learn how to tackle snowplough turns

- Blue (basic) levels will add some parallel-skiing turns to their descents

- Red (intermediate) levels will perform a sequence of parallel ski turns

- Orange (advanced) levels will tackle parallel ski turns in conduction

- Black (top) levels will challenge the adrenaline-filled world of freeride.

At the end of the week, the ski race will be held, and the young skiers will be rewarded for their progress during the lessons.

Meeting Time

For participants of the yellow level, the meeting point is scheduled at the yellow flags at the playground. For all others, the meeting point is scheduled at the flags of the corresponding colour at the baby club. We meet 30 minutes before the start of the lesson. Please come to the office before the start of the course for check-in. Check-in can also be done the day before the first lesson during office hours. When you drop off your kid, our ski instructors will let you know where to pick them up after the lesson. The school can be reached by taking the Aosta-Pila cable car first, and then the Liaison-Gorraz chairlift. You can also reach us by car at Loc. Pila no. 91. There is a convenient paid car park near the school.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson. A ski pass is required to reach the meeting point with the cable car. If you come by car, you do not need a ski pass.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson. Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson. During our courses, we are always wearing a helmet.
