If you want to progress quickly and efficiently, our private ski lessons for adults in La Tania will meet your expectations... and much more.
Private lessons are completely adapted to your desires and needs. At the beginning of the session, you discuss with your instructor what you want to improve. They will then provide you with a customized program and personalized advice to help you progress at your own pace. It is the ideal setting to learn to ski if you don't have much time, to brush up on your skiing after a long break or to help you finally master that elusive technique.
Furthermore, private lessons offer you greater flexibility. You can start when you want, for how long you want, and you can even decide if your child will ski alone with their instructor or if they will be joined by friends and family numbers. Indeed, up to 6 people can participate in a private lesson. The only prerequisite? That everyone has a similar level, to make sure they all learn in the best conditions. We recommend not mixing adults and children under the age of 10, due to the learning difference.
Meeting time
We meet on the snow front 5 minutes before the beginning of the lessons. Different flags indicate each level. The course ends at the same place. Please stop by our office before the first lesson (ideally as soon as you arrive in the resort) to pick up your course card. La Tania is a pedestrian resort, but car parks are available on the outskirts.
Ski pass
First-timers do not need a ski pass on the first day of the lessons. All other skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lesson (Vallée de Courchevel - La Tania). You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
Good to know
- Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson. Please make sure you have skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson. Helmets are not mandatory, but are strongly recommended.
- For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to the high demand.

I spent three days snowboarding in La Tania with Mickael as my instructor, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This wasn’t my first time snowboarding, but I always considered myself a beginner and lacked confidence. Thanks to Mickael, I now feel like a true intermediate rider.
Mickael is incredibly professional while also being so much fun to be around. His teaching style is clear, patient, and encouraging, and he made every lesson feel safe and enjoyable. His English is perfect, which meant we communicated effortlessly at all times, and he always made sure I understood exactly what I was doing and why.
He is kind, sweet, social, and genuinely passionate about teaching. He adapted perfectly to my level, pushed me when I needed it, and reassured me when I felt unsure. By the end of our time together, my confidence on the board had grown so much — something I didn’t think was possible in just a few days.
I felt safe, supported, and motivated throughout the entire experience. Mickael did his job absolutely perfectly, and I will 100% ask for him again as my instructor on my future trips to La Tania. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
