Our snowboarding lessons in Roccaraso are ideal for adults and kids (from 16 years old) who would like to start snowboarding or improve their skills while discovering the slopes of Roccaraso. Share this learning experience with other adventurous riders and have fun on the slopes of the Alto Sangro ski area. The maximum number of participants per instructor is 10.
On the first day, the instructor will assess each participant's abilities to make sure they will be learning with other snowboarders of the same level. first-timers will get familiar with the snowboarding equipment and the basic techniques both in the kids area and on the blue slopes. They will learn how to walk uphill, how to skate, how to glide and how to do the falling leaf. Beginners will learn how to do J-turns and how to link turns with the help of the instructor.
Meeting time
We meet 10 minutes before the starting time at the tapis roulant in front of the hotel Boschetto. Before the lesson, please come to the ski school office close to the meeting point with your booking confirmation. If you come by car, there are a lot of free car parks a few steps away.
Ski pass
All snowboarders need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance at the ski lift ticket office.
Good to know
- Equipment is not included in the price of the lesson. Please make sure you have a snowboard, boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson.
- If a minimum number of 3 participants is not reached, a one-hour lesson will be held instead of two, with no change in price.
- Lessons will not be rescheduled or refunded in case of delays or absences for reasons beyond the control of the ski school.
Our teacher was really patient, we learned the basics and it was easier to stay on the snowboard after the lesson.
