What to Expect
On 42 kilometres of slopes, your youngest ones between 3 and 4 years of age have enough space to get to know the element of snow during our kids ski lessons in the Kinderland at Waiding Steinplatte. Together with their peers, they discover a completely new activity and learn how to handle the skis.
Our lessons for toddlers offer a balanced mix of skiing, games and entertainment. This way, your skiing tots will also be able to ski their first metres with enthusiasm - of course, accompanied by our highly trained ski instructors and their newfound friends. Your kids will learn the basics, such as getting used to the equipment and skiing on the "Hausberg". The first runs on the real piste using plough bows then take place on the Pfindelfeld next door.
The weekly highlight, the big final race, takes place every Thursday. Here, every child can show off what they have learned and receive a medal at the end for this great achievement. If your kids still want to spend time with their newfound friends after the ski lessons, the TRIASSI Kids' Club is right next door.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
