Details
With our private boat tour from Stresa to the Borromean Islands, you will enjoy unique landscapes by the light of the sunset. We will navigate the waters of Lake Maggiore among the hidden treasures that the archipelago hides.
The boat will depart from the town of Stresa, where you can start your navigation towards the archipelago. The destinations you can admire from the comfort of our boat are Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Bella. Isola Madre is the largest of the three and is characterised by its unspoilt nature and enchanting nuances. On the island is the Borromeo Palace, which with its botanical garden will take you back in time to a completely tropical atmosphere. The second island is Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen's Island), whose name originates from the activity its inhabitants used to carry out. It is the only island that is still inhabited throughout the year.
You can conclude your tour by passing around Isola Bella, named after Isabella d'Adda, wife of Carlo III Borromeo. This place gives you a step back in time thanks to its Italian-style garden, where you can see peacocks and pheasants roaming freely in the greenery.
