What better way to discover the rich biodiversity of the Ligurian Sea than with a boat trip from Savona to the Pelagos Sanctuary with cetacean watching? During our mini cruise, we will discover the best of Liguria's marine fauna and, thanks to our naturalist guide, we will have the opportunity to learn a lot of interesting facts about the species that inhabit it!
We will leave Savona and cruise to Corsica to enter the Pelagos Sanctuary, an international marine protected area, with a massive concentration of cetaceans that lies between France, Monaco and Italy. Once offshore, we will search for the species that typically inhabit the area. We will have the chance to spot different categories of dolphins, such as the bottlenose dolphin and striped dolphin, diverse species of whales, such as the pilot whale and the sperm whale (16 metres long), or the orca and the pseudorhynx. If we are lucky, we might even come across some sea turtles! During our boat trip, our naturalist guide will explain to us the most interesting features and facts about these cute animals. At the end of our 4-hour trip, when we return to the Savona harbour, you will be wildlife experts too!
