What to Expect

Make your first steps on the snow with this first timer and beginner weekend snowboard course with personalised guidance in groups of maximum 6 participants. Nestled in the picturesque ski resort of Hinterglemm, our resort offers the ideal setting for those eager to embark on their snowboarding journey. You will receive personalised coaching from certified snowboard instructors who focus on the unique needs of beginners and first-timers. This 2-day weekend course is designed for adults and teens aged 14 and above, ensuring a fast and safe learning environment.

Participants become familiar with the fundamentals of snowboarding and gain confidence on gentle terrain. Instructors focus on building a solid foundation and creating a comfortable atmosphere where everyone can learn at their own pace.

Your skills continue to develop as you apply what you’ve learned on a variety of suitable slopes. With expert guidance and the resort’s diverse terrain, you’ll steadily improve your technique and enjoy the thrill of progressing on the snow. By the end of the course, you’ll feel prepared and excited to continue your snowboarding adventure.

Meeting Time

We meet at the assembly point at "Heli's Kinderland" next to the 12er express valley station, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. Please make sure to bring your booking confirmation with you.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

If you book including equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at the Alpin-Skiverleih near our ski school office. We recommend picking up your equipment the day before between 3 pm and 5:30 pm in our rental shop at Hotel Conrad (Dorfstraße 165).

Ski Pass

On the first day of the lesson you don’t need a ski pass. Depending on the progress, your instructor will inform you on which day a ski pass is required.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 14 years

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Snowboard equipment and helmet
