What to Expect

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your resort, followed by a scenic transfer to Agios Nikolaos in the northern part of Zakynthos. From here, you will board a comfortable ferry to Pessada in Kefalonia, with the exciting possibility of spotting playful dolphins during the crossing.

Upon arrival in Kefalonia, the first stop is the Monastery of Saint Gerasimos, the Patron Saint of Kefalonia. Marvel at the 500-year-old icons and the saint's relics housed within this serene sanctuary. Next, explore the awe-inspiring Drogarati Cave, famous for its impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and exceptional acoustics. Continue your journey to the magical Melissani Lake, where a boat ride will reveal the vibrant water reflections and the open roof-dome of this underground wonder.

After a delightful lunch at a seaside tavern in Karavomylos, a charming fishing village with views of Ithaca, you will make a scenic photo stop above the iconic Myrtos Beach, known from the film "Captain Corelli’s Mandolin." The day concludes with a visit to Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, where you can enjoy coffee, shopping, or a walk along the port, perhaps spotting the famous Caretta-Caretta turtles. The tour wraps up with a ferry ride back to Zakynthos and a convenient drop-off at your resort.
