If you want to visit beaches and coves that can only be reached by sea and spend a day off cruising the Gulf of Cagliari, then our RIB boat trip from Cagliari to Poetto Beach is for you. Our local skipper will be waiting for you aboard our modern and fast RIB boat to give you a unique experience!
The trip will start from the Port of Cagliari, where the navigation along the coast will begin. The first point of interest we will encounter will be Calamosca Beach, bordered by an inlet and the hill of Sant'Elia. We will then head towards Sella del Diavolo (The Devil's Saddle), a mystical place that inspired a famous local legend. It is said, in fact, of a battle between angels and demons who wanted to take over this evocative place. During the battle, Lucifer lost his saddle, and it petrified, forming the promontory we know today.
During the navigation, you will also be able to immerse yourself in the emerald waters of the area thanks to several stops for swimming and snorkeling. We will go as far as the Poetto Beach, with its fine white sand, the perfect location for one last refreshing swim before returning to the starting point.
We were very well received by the two captains, a very friendly and warm father and son. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The places we visited were beautiful with some historical explanations. The only downside was that we did not have a snorkel (because of covid) and fins to fully enjoy the snorkeling. I recommend this activity for people who want to enjoy a nice time outdoors.
