These kids ski lessons for kids between 5 and 11 are ideal for children who want to make their first steps on skis, as well as for those who know the basics and want to improve their skills.
Our professional, certified ski instructors place great emphasis on creating a calm environment without pressure during the lessons, allowing the little ones to familiarize themselves with the surroundings and skis. Our Snow Academy helps efficiently learn or improve the essential techniques of this wonderful winter sport in the beautiful ski area of Saalbach.
The lessons take place on very easy slopes accessible to beginners, providing space for excursions, games, and moments of sharing with the group. During the first skiing lessons, instructors initially explain how to correctly wear and fasten ski boots, and how to attach them to the skis. The basics are illustrated using simple and clear language, suitable for children.
After a gentle introduction aimed at getting to know each other, the instructor will teach the children the fundamentals, such as how to stop and use ski poles. Your children will be split in groups of maximum 5 participants, ensuring progress and safety.
Meeting Time
We meet 10 minutes before the start of the lesson at our ski school (Schischulstraße 403, 5753 Saalbach).
Equipment Rental
If you book including equipment, you can conveniently pick it up at our ski school office. We recommend picking up your equipment the day before from 3 pm to 6 pm at our rental shop.
Ski pass
Participants do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Super sweet ski instructor. Spoke Dutch and the groups were small so there was attention for everyone. The diversity of the group was too big at first but they found a suitable solution. We were satisfied and booked another private lesson afterwards with the same instructor.
