Ski Touring Group - Beginner

Ski touring has become more and more popular over the last years. Due to the ever improving technology, it has been possible for absolute beginners and inexperienced ski tourers to experience this indescribable feeling of hiking through the undisturbed winter countryside. The Ski school Sport am Jet in Flachau offers, as part of the Ski touring Basic, the possibility to try out ski touring for the very first time in absolute safety. Our ski touring guides explain first of all the handling of the equipment, before we try the first ascent in the fresh powder snow. After a short ascent with many breaks, you find yourself standing on the summit of the Griesenkars and are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The run down is either along the ascent track in Powder snow or for all those who are not so comfortable skiing in deep snow, we can simply go down the prepared slope. Ski touring Basic is intended for all winter fanatics who want to try out ski touring under experienced guidance. The demands on the body are very low and can be easily achieved by all winter and nature loving fanatics. Equipment rental is included.
