Join us on an unforgettable bus and boat tour to Gozo with visit of the Cittadella and lunch in Victoria. After picking you up from one of the several transfer points on the island, we will embark a ferry that will bring us in 20 minutes to Gozo. From the port, we will start our bus trip. The first highlight of the tour will be the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu which is a Roman Catholic basilica, located in the edge of a cliff in open countryside that will allow you to have a wonderful view of the area!
Next, we will go to the Dwejra Bay, where we can catch a boat if the weather allows us to navigate. We will then go to a crafts shop, which be the perfect place to find a nice souvenir to offer to your family: you will be able to find local lace, traditional food, stone work, … The following destination of our trip will be Victoria, and especially a visit to the Cittadella, that we will reach with a rackless train ride. The Cittadella has a history that spans over thousands of years. It was originally fortified by the Phoenicians in ancient times due to its strategic location for defence and control over the surrounding area. After this visit, we will stop for a delicious lunch in Rabat.
Once our batteries are recharged, we will go back on the bus, and pass the Qala Belvedere, which offers breathtaking views before arriving to Mgarr. There you will take the ferry, to Cirkewwa, and we will bring you back to the place we met you.
