This programme is especially designed for beginners from 10 years old, that want to discover the underwater world for the first time and understand how it feels to float like an astronaut. Our experienced and certified SSI instructors will introduce you to the basics of diving and ensure your security throughout the activity. The Maltese islands provide exceptional diving opportunities and are widely recognized as one of the premier diving destinations in Europe. Therefore, you will be able to observe a dozen of colourful and shining fish. For this activity, we will most likely stay on the beach in front of our base, depending on the weather. But if the conditions aren't suitable, we will take a boat to a quiet cove and do our diving there.Programme
We will meet you directly at our office in Sliema. If you come by car, there are free car parks nearby. We offer free pick-up in Sliema and St. Julian's, as well as paid pick-up in the region as far as Valletta. In both cases, this must be arranged after booking.
Once at the diving centre, you will collect your equipment and change clothes. Depending on the weather conditions, we will most likely stay on the beach in front of our base. If the conditions do not allow us to stay there, we will take the boat to a quiet cove and dive there.
After a short briefing and an explanation on how to use your diving equipment, it is time to go into the water! You will do a dive up to 6 meters in shallow water, to understand the basics and complete skills shown to you by your instructor. The length of the dive is usually 30 minutes. At the end of the activity, we will go back to the diving centre, where you can have a shower or enjoy our chill out area. Included services
