What to Expect

Experience a boat trip with us, departing from the port of Souda, and explore the stunning waters and scenic spots around Souda Bay. Our spacious and comfortable boat ensures a pleasant trip through the deep blue waters, accompanied by delightful music. The boat features a self-service bar offering delicious meals and bottled water, available throughout the cruise, allowing you to enjoy the flavours of Greece.

As we pass by the islet of Souda, you will see the fortress of Fortezza, built in 1571 AD, which protected the port of Souda and the city of Chania for centuries. We then head to the northwest side of the bay, marvelling at the steep slopes of the Akrotiri peninsula, arriving at the beautiful sandy beach at Marathi. Here, we dock for a few hours, allowing you to relax and swim either onboard or at the beach.

Departing Marathi, we head to the hidden area of Pervolitsa to admire wild goats on the rocks, then proceed to Cape Drepano. Weather permitting, we will see the historic stone lighthouse and explore the Cave of Elephants. We will also explore nearby sea caves and stop for a swim at a sheltered beach. On our return trip, enjoy stunning views of the Apokoronas peninsula mountains. You will also see the ancient city of Aptera and the historic Turkish Izzeddin Fortress, before heading back to the port of Souda.

How to Get There

Our bus will pick you up at the chosen meeting point in the area of Rethymno and Chania. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you do not miss the bus. After booking, check the attached file for precise locations and departure times corresponding to your meeting point. Depending on the chosen location, pick-ups are available between 7.00am and 10.00am, and the boat departs at 11.30am. After the trip, we will return you to the meeting point.
