Our kids ski lessons cater specifically to First Timers and Beginners between the ages of 6 to 13, providing an ideal opportunity to learn to ski in the ski resort Oberhof, Germany. Action and amusement are the key ingredients for effective progress during these lessons.
Our ski school focuses on teaching beginners, utilizing the region's excellent beginner slopes, including the dedicated beginner's area "Winterlernland" with a magic carpet for initial skiing lessons. Our DSLV certified instructors expertly divide kids into groups of maximum 10, guaranteeing personalized attention. Free parking ensures convenient and hassle-free accessibility for participants.
Throughout the lessons, children will acquire essential skills, including information on equipment, gliding and braking in a snowplough, executing snowplough turns (wedge turns), and mastering the use of a ski lift. By the end of the lessons, the kids will ski with ease on blue slopes.
Meeting point
We meet 15 minutes before the start of the lessons at our ski rental shop Skiverleih Talstation Snowpark Oberhof. If you need to pick up rental equipment, please make sure to do so at least 1 hour in advance.
Lunch break
We ask the parents to pick up their children at the meeting point at 12:30 pm. Please make sure to return to the meeting point at 13:20, so we can start again at 13:30 sharp.
Ski pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office before the first lesson.
Good to know
Please note that the minimum group size is 3 participants per group. If this minimum participant number is not reached, the lessons can not take place.
I can highly recommend the ski course. The ski instructors are super friendly and have a really relaxed yet respectful way with the children. My daughter participated for two days and she's amazed at how quickly she learned. On the second day, she was already skiing down the Fallbach slope from the top – there was always a ski instructor with her on the lift. Thumbs up – keep up the good work! 👍🏼
