No, you don't need any previous experience to join the PADI Open Water course. It is designed for beginners.
To participate, you must be at least 15 years old, have swimming ability, and be in general good health. If you wear glasses, you need to be comfortable using contact lenses.
The course usually takes 3 to 4 days to complete. You can do 1 or 2 dives per day, depending on your flexibility.
After completing the course, you will receive the PADI Open Water Diver certification, which allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) with a buddy.
The price includes a certified PADI instructor, all necessary diving gear, a scuba tank, the PADI registration fee and certificate, and hotel pick-up in Sliema and St. Julian's. The e-learning material is not included and costs an additional 85€.
Yes, a free pick-up service from hotels in Sliema and St. Julian's is included. This service is available in the morning only and needs to be arranged after booking.
