Embark on an epic adventure to the Drogarati and Melissani Caves in Kefalonia for a day filled with jaw-dropping natural wonders. Our journey will with a 45-minute scenic drive to across the Greek countryside to the Drogarati Caves. Nestled nearly 60 meters below the surface, it was discovered 300 years ago as an earthquake revealed it. We will do a 40-minute tour of the cave, where you can contemplate the breathtaking rock formations illuminated by hidden lighting, and step into the magnificent “Sala of Apotheosis”, a grand hall within the cave.
On your way to Lake Melissani, we will pass by Mount Ainos, one of Greece's highest peaks, while our guide tells you all about the stories and fun facts of the island. Once there, we will descend into the heart of the cave and hop aboard a short rowboat to explore the crystal-clear waters of the Melissani Cave. Lastly, we will do a 10-minute photo stop at the incredible view point of Myrtos Beach and Ionian Sea before heading back to your pick-up location. Highlights
