PADI Open Water Diver Course for Beginners in Latchi

Embark on your journey to become a certified diver with our Open Water PADI course in Latchi. Tailored for beginners with no prior experience, starting from the age of 10, this two-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to diving, covering theory and practical skills from the ground up. Led by our expert PADI instructors, you'll explore the pristine diving spots along the coast of Akamas Natural Park. Over the course of 3 to 4 days, you'll dive to depths of up to 18 meters, perfecting your skills and confidence in the water.

The PADI Open Water Diver Course qualifies you to: - Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet (12 meter maximum for ages 10 & 11) - Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy - Rent or buy diving equipment in dive centres worldwide

Programme - eLearning: We will send you the access details to the online study programme which you will complete before the start date of your course. On the first day of your course, just come down to the dive centre and show us the confirmation slip you received from the eLearning platform to show us that you have successfully completed the theoretical part of the PADI Open Water Diver course. Then, you can move straight on to the practical part of your scuba diving experience. - Kick-off: We meet at the dive centre, check you in and have you fill out the necessary paperwork, including the PADI Medical Statement. Then we will run over a Review of the theory, and Equipment preparation. Following this the fun begins with the Confined water learning, 5 sections of Briefings and learning the skills in a controlled safe environment no deeper than 5 meters until you are confident being underwater. The Next Morning will meet at 8.30 am after preparing your equipment and briefings we will go for 2 dives to a maximum of 12m Practicing a few skills you learnt the previous day. The Final Morning again Meeting at 8.30 your prepare your equipment then after loading the boat head out into the Akamas to complete the final 2 dives to a Max of 18m (12m for 10 and 11 yr olds) Upon return to the Centre you will Log your Dives and Sign the final paperwork.
