Join us on a snorkeling excursion around Elba Island's beautiful seas. Glide through the pristine waters, admiring the colourful fish, swaying sea plants, and intricate coral formations that call this marine paradise home. Don't worry if you're new to it; our team will make sure you feel at ease and confident in the sea. With our professional instructors guiding you along the way, you'll be able to snorkel, swim, and even jumpright into the sea from our RIB boat, all while discovering Elba's outstanding coastline.
Capture every moment of your underwater trip with our optional video service, to make sure to relieve your memories every time you want. As you emerge from the sea, refuel with a snack offered onboard.
Snorkeling area
We will choose the snorkeling site to make sure you will witness all the magnificent fishes and biodiversity of the Elba Island. You could see several species, among which lobster, morays and dentex fishes.
Programme
We meet 1 hour before the starting time at our diving centre. You can park your car at free parking lots close to the meeting point. You can also take the hydrofoil from and to the mainland, which will take you to the destination in 15 minutes. The excursion starts at our diving centre in Cavo, strategically located for easy access via ferry from the mainland. We will visit a number of unique bays and coves in which, in addition to the beauty of the landscape, you will be able to enjoy the view of a sea habitat rich in life and colours; you will also be able to swim and dive from the RIB Boat. Prior to our snorkeling adventure, an appropriate briefing will be held. We will then go into the water together with a guide to discover the great seabed, characterized by clear water and resident fish. During the excursion, you will savour a snack provided by us, which you can enjoy while looking at the beautiful view.

Thanks to Luca, Delia, and Carlotta, we gave our two teenage sisters a wonderful first snorkeling experience. They were thrilled, even though they didn't even know how to use fins the day before. Luca is an expert, knowledgeable, patient guide who makes you feel safe. He answered all our questions and curiosities clearly. Delia was attentive to us as a group, pointing out the various fish we were looking for. "Did we do that whole stretch? I didn't think I was capable of it!" was the comment we left the first cove with. They were definitely a great team.

Fantastic experience! My 15-year old son and I took 2 snorkeling trips with EcoDiving Cavo Elba. One trip had Luca as the boat driver, the other Carlotta, both times Francesco was our super wonderful snorkel guide. The scenery and fish were spectacular and diverse at Palmaiola, Isola dei Topi, sasso rosso, and scoglietto di Portoferraio. Can't wait to come back!
