Windsurfing Lessons (from 10 y.) in Lagos

Experience the thrill of windsurfing lessons at our renowned school located in Portugal's picturesque Ria do Alvor. Led by our skilled and patient instructors, you'll enjoy daily lessons catered to both beginners and advanced windsurfers. Throughout the sessions, you'll master a range of skills, from basic windsurfing maneuvers to riding downwind and upwind, executing tacks and jibes, and progressing to riding with a harness. By the end of the lessons, you'll confidently handle beach and water starts, equipped with the knowledge and skills to take your windsurfing adventures to new heights.

Meeting & Preparation We will meet at our base in Lagos at the agreed starting time. You will be able to park your car for free upon arrival at our school. Then we will arrange a transfer for you to take you to the beach where the fun begins.

Start time The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available 1 day in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Course content - Set up equipment - Theory about the wind and equipment - Theory and practice in the water What beginners will learn: After 1 day: how to setup the gear, basic theory, how to sail the first meter on the water and a basic turn (tack) After 3 days: riding comfortable over longer distances; doing turning maneuvers like a tack and turn After 5 days: riding in stronger winds, riding with harness, doing advanced turns, e.g. helitack Please note that everyone's learning progress is different as some people learn quicker than others. You will be in the water for 2.5 hours.
