Meeting and preparation
We meet 10 minutes before the start of the lesson at our surfing school. If you arrive by car, you will find both free and paid car parks. If you wish to make use of our pickup service from Agadir or near Taghazout, please contact us after completing the booking.
Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome at our stand, before getting your equipment, tailored to your age and skill level. Then, your instructor will lead you to the beach for an exciting surfing session.Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions. Therefore, please plan to allocate some extra time on the day of your surf lesson. Your surf instructor will inform you of the start time the day before the lesson.Course Content
Beginners:
- Guidelines for safety measures
- Preparatory warm-up exercises
- Basics of positioning and balance on the surfboard
- Learning the stand-up technique
- Learning elementary surfing manoeuvres and successfully riding your first waves
Intermediate:
- Mastering wave selection and surfing both left and right
- Confidently catching and riding green waves
- Developing comprehensive knowledge about the ocean (including rips, tides, and optimal spot selection) & surfing etiquette
- Dedicated focus on refining personal surfing techniques

Do I need to be a good swimmer, and what's the minimum age?
You need to have swimming ability to participate. The minimum age is 5 years.
Why can the time of my lesson change, and how big is the group?
The lesson time is set the day before to ensure the best tidal conditions for surfing. You will be in a small group with a maximum of 7 participants.
Is equipment included, and what do I need to bring?
A wetsuit and a surfboard adapted to your level are included. You should bring swimwear, a towel, and a bottle of water.
Is a pickup service available?
Yes, a pickup service is available for a surcharge. It costs €13 from Agadir and €5 from nearby Taghazout. Please contact the provider after booking to arrange it.
What will I learn during the lesson?
