Essaouira is one of the best destinations for kitesurfing, with excellent wind and wave conditions all year round. So whether you want to discover kitesurfing or improve your skills, our kitesurfing lessons in Essaouira promise an unforgettable experience. In a small group of no more than 4 participants, you will be supervised by one of our certified instructors, who will help you to progress while ensuring your safety.

Meeting & Preparation We meet 15 minutes before the beginning of the lesson at our hut near the beach. For those staying in the Medina (15 minutes on foot), we offer a free transport service. On site, you will find the appropriate facilities (changing rooms, lockers, etc.) to change and store your personal belongings. Once you have collected your equipment and met your instructor, you will head off to the beach.

Start time Essaouira is a very windy town, offering good conditions for kitesurfing throughout the day, but particularly in the afternoon. If necessary, the starting time of the lessons can be changed to offer you the best conditions. We will inform you in time once the booking has been made.

Course content The first lesson takes place on the beach and consists of familiarising oneself with win safety and learning the basic controls of the kite as well as the theory. Then, as the lessons progress, once the kite has been mastered on the sand, participants will move on to the water. The focus will then be on posture, weighting and grip. Advanced kiteboarders will concentrate on perfecting their technique and learning tricks.
