As we cruise along the coast of Brijuni National Park, you will be surorunded by the clear blue sea, perfect for observing the diverse marine life through the glass bottom of the boat. We will visit Veliki Brijun, home to famous golf courses and an old Venetian villa. As we enter the port of Brijuni, we will pass by Veriga Bay, where you can see the remains of ancient Roman structures. Our stop at Veliki Brijuni offers an underwater panorama with many different fish species.
Next, we will head to the uninhabited island of Jerolim, known for its peacocks and popular swimming spot. You can relax and dine at the nearby restaurant while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. After, we will go to the island of Kozada, which is perfect for exploring and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. We went on a glass-bottom boat trip from Fažana, hoping to see dolphins. The whole idea of the excursion was very appealing – the boat itself was clean and comfortable, with good visibility, and the glass-bottom section added an extra attraction, especially for children. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to spot any dolphins this time 😉 – but of course, that’s something that can’t be guaranteed.
Still, the cruise was really enjoyable: beautiful views of the coastline and nearby islands, a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and a chance to experience the sea in a different way than just from the beach. The crew was friendly and helpful, and everything was well-organized and punctual.
All in all, it’s worth taking the trip at least once for the experience and the scenery. And if you’re lucky enough to see dolphins, that will simply be the cherry on top.
