Our certified instructors ensure your safety and support as you tackle the renowned Basque waves. Enjoy small group sessions, with a group up to 8 participants, by level and age. By the end of the session, you'll try to master riding foam, balancing on the board, executing take-offs, and performing basic maneuvers.Meeting & Preparation
On the day of your choice, we'll meet you at our surf school at the scheduled start time. There, you'll meet your instructor and pick up your equipment. You'll be provided with a board according to your level and age before heading out onto the beach in the best conditions (which can vary depending on the time of year and the swell). Our sessions generally last around 2 hours, and you'll warm up and learn the safety rules before taking to the water. We are easily reachable by public transportation.Start time
Departure times depend on the tides to ensure the best conditions. Please allow a little extra time on the day of your surf lesson. We will inform you of the exact start time in good time once you have made your booking. Our sessions usually last around 2 hours, including warm-up, safety rules and return to base.Course content

Do I need to be a good swimmer, and what's the minimum age?
The minimum age is 6 years. You don't need to be a strong swimmer, but you should be comfortable putting your head underwater.
Why can the time of my lesson change, and how big is the group?
Start times depend on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so the exact time will be confirmed after booking. You will be in a small group of up to 8 participants.
Is equipment included, and what do I need to bring?
A surfboard and wetsuit are included. You should bring swimwear, a towel, a t-shirt, shampoo, shower gel, and sunscreen.
How long is the lesson and what will I learn?
The session lasts about 2 hours in total, with about 1 hour of practice in the sea. You will learn the basics of surfing, such as riding foam, balancing on the board, and performing take-offs.

Are there showers and lockers available?
Yes, showers and lockers are available for you to use.
What happens if the conditions are bad for my child?
For children between 6 and 8 years old, if the conditions are poor, the surfing lesson will be replaced by a bodyboarding session.
