We meet at Los Gigantes (Marina de Los Gigantes, Dock 1. 38683, Santa Cruz de Tenerife)
Experience an exclusive adventure on our 6-hour private boat trip, sailing along the magnificent coastline of the southwest of Tenerife to Punta Teno. Starting from Los Gigantes Marina, we will sail along the impressive coasts of Tenerife, passing by the towering Los Gigantes cliffs and various secluded bays and natural coves only accessible by boat. Our sailboat, «Sangria», provides a smooth journey thanks to the trade winds of the Atlantic.
This area is a natural reserve teeming with incredible marine biodiversity, especially cetaceans such as whales and dolphins. It is highly likely that some of these majestic creatures will visit us on our trip and accompany us for part of the journey. One of the main highlights is stopping at the beautiful bay of Masca, where you can swim and snorkel in crystal-clear waters and witness the vibrant marine life firsthand. The water here is incredibly clear, making it a perfect spot for diving into Tenerife's underwater world.
On board, you will also enjoy a delicious lunch, with vegan and vegetarian options available, all while being guided by an experienced captain and private guide throughout the journey. We had an amazing 6 hour sailing around Los Gigantes on the Sangria, a beautiful Beneteau Cyclades 43,4 ft. We went as just a family of 3, myself, my wife and our 10 year old son Seb - and had the perfect day, spotting pilot whales and snorkelling in the coves at the foot of the enormous cliffs. Our guides, Luis and his father (Sebastian) were extremely accommodating, polite and friendly. They had plenty of supplies available, food / drink etc, and brough us a huge feast for lunch which was prepared at a nearby restaurant and then brought aboard. The weather was hot, but it was cool on the water - with a constant breeze, so very manageable despite it being the height of summer. Alas we did not see Dolphins, or Turtles, but the Pilot Whales we did see were a sight to behold.. so maybe next time. We all really enjoyed this trip, and it was the highlight of a very fun filled holiday in Tenerife.
A complete success. Highly recommended. Both the boat and the staff were top-notch. The food was excellent.
