Discover the idyllic landscape of the Ebro Delta on our kayak & SUP tour through the Gola de Migjorn. We'll follow the iconic Illa de Buda, the best-preserved wetland in the Mediterranean and the largest island in Catalonia. Though restricted, our route will unveil its features and the rich flora and fauna surrounding it.
Tour programme- Preparation:
We will meet you
15 minutes before at Pont Lo Passador's car park located in
Deltebre. Here you will be able to park your vehicles and this is where the route will end. From this point we will take you in our vehicles to the starting point of the route, which is the paso de la barca in Illa de Buda. Once we are at the start of the route, our team will provide you with the necessary material and will give you the indications of the route, as well as a practical explanation of how to kayak.
- Tour:
Just where the waters of the Ebro River flow into the Gola de Migjorn, we will start paddling along the calm waters next to the Island of Buda. This landscape will not leave you indifferent and will captivate everyone who visits. Along the route, we can find a wide variety of flora, although the most impressive are the enormous eucalyptus trees on the island. We continue to reach the old mouth of the Ebro. Here, we will take a short break to relax and enjoy a swim, choosing between the river's fresh water or the sea's salty water.
- Return:
The return journey will follow the same route towards the starting point.
