Join us for a sea kayak tour and explore the beautiful caves of Berlenga Island. Starting from the main harbour of Berlenga, you will explore the beautiful coastline of the island. This UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve is renowned for its stunning sea caves, crystal-clear waters, and rich marine life, making it a paradise for nature lovers. You will be guided by a guide boat, but have the freedom to explore the caves at your own pace and discover the island's natural beauty.Tour programme- Preparation:
We will meet you at the harbour of Berlenga Island 20 minutes before the start of the activity. You can reach the island by ferry from Peniche Marina.
- Tour:
Starting our tour at the harbour of Berlenga, we will begin with a brief lesson covering safety and proper paddling techniques. From there, we will start our trip and peddle towards the caves of Berlenga. Finally, we will paddle back towards the harbour of Berlenga.
- Return:
After 1 hour, the tour is over, and we will be back at the harbour of Berlenga. Tour facts

We had a wonderful time exploring the caves and and the beautiful coastline of Berlingas on kayaks. Our guide was friendly and enthusiastic and helped us discover wonderful sights as well as sharing a beer with us afterwards. One of the highlights of our entire trip to Portugal.

The sea was too choppy for kayaking, so they arranged a private tour in a glass bottom boat. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

The groups consist of a maximum of 14 people. Please note that transport to the meeting point on Berlenga Island is not included.
