What to Expect

Learn the basics of scuba diving and start exploring the underwater of Golfo Aranci with our PADI course for beginners. This course is designed for beginners and includes 3 online theory lessons, 3 confined water lessons and 2 open water dives. Under the guidance of our PADI certified instructors, you will practice in shallow water near the diving center before adventuring into open water. Dives will take place in breathtaking locations around Cape Figaro and Figarolo, Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo, where you will discover the vibrant underwater world.

Our dive center, located in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, has over 30 years of experience in diving courses. With the beach right in front of the center, you will begin your journey into the water effortlessly. Open water dive spots are chosen with your instructor and you will be transported there by boat. Our instructors are there to support you every step of the way, tailoring the course to your abilities and making sure you feel comfortable and safe.

After completing the course, you will receive a certification that qualifies you to dive to a depth of 12 meters accompanied by a professional. This course is ideal for beginners and provides a complete introduction to the world of scuba diving.

• Dive to a maximum depth of 12m (40 feet)

• Meeting time: 10 minutes before the start of the activity

• Pick up: please contact us after completing the booking, if you wish to make use of our pick up service (at a surcharge of 15 € per person. In the surroundings of Olbia and Porto Rotondo)

Programme

Meeting and Preparation:

The theory course includes three online classes to be taken before the start date of the course. After booking, you will be provided with the necessary materials to study by yourself. On the day of the activity, we will meet at the dive center 10 minutes before the start of the course. If you come by car, you will find paid and free parking spaces nearby. Once you arrive at the center, you will be provided with the equipment you will need.

Practice Sessions:

We will move to the seashore for our first lesson in confined waters. We will then depart in one of our boats to one of the 40 dive sites on Cape Figaro, which will be chosen by the instructor depending on sea conditions and your abilities. The course includes a total of three confined water lessons and two deep water dives. The exact schedule of the course is determined individually, based on your progress in the theory part of the course and according to the time you have available on the following days. This will be discussed on the first day at the dive center.
