What to Expect

Embark on an exciting surfing adventure in Essaouira with your friends or family and discover your passion for surfing! Our surf lessons are perfect for beginners and take place at the beautiful Essaouira Beach or Essaouira Second Beach. The total duration of the course is about 2 hours, with approximately 1 hour and a half spent in the water. You will start by getting to know your surf instructor and receiving all the necessary equipment. After a brief talk about the important basics of surfing, safety rules, and a warm-up session at the beach, it’s time to give it a try.

In our surf school, you will find changing rooms where you can prepare for your lesson, and you can leave your personal belongings at the surf school or in our van. During your surf lessons, you will learn the important basics of surfing such as practice paddling, catching your first waves and improving your balance on the board. By the end of the course, you will have gained the confidence and skills needed to enjoy surfing on your own. Join us for an unforgettable experience and dive into the world of surfing!

How To Get There

• Meeting place: We will either meet you at an individually arranged meeting point 10 minutes before the agreed time, or we will pick you up from your hotel. If you wish to make use of our pickup service, please contact us after completing the booking.

• Car parks nearby: at the meeting place (paid and free)

• Transfer: we will transport you from our base to the beach

Start time

• The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions. Therefore, please plan to allocate some extra time on the day of your surf lesson. Your surf instructor will inform you of the start time one or two days before the lesson (courses can start from 9 a.m.).

• Practice in the sea: about 1 hour and 30 minutes

Surfing beginners at our school are typically able to:

- After 1 day: standing up and paddling

- After 2 days: catching first waves
