About the Activity

What to Expect

Enjoy the experience of an introductory scuba diving session in the crystal-clear waters of Cova Tallada in Denia. Depending on sea conditions, our professional guide will decide whether it is more suitable to visit the Marine Reserve of Cova Tallada or Cape San Antonio. Share this experience with a maximum of 8 people and dive down to a maximum of 6 metres. We will travel by motorboat to the most convenient locations to start our dive.

The activity includes a theoretical briefing on the use and handling of the equipment, followed by an underwater dive alongside your certified PADI instructor. After the dive, you will receive a certificate to commemorate your first scuba diving experience. This is a perfect opportunity for those who want to try snorkeling and are curious about scuba diving.

Dive Area

Cova Tallada is a natural gem on the Costa Blanca, featuring a cave at sea level carved by humans in the 12th to 14th centuries. Cape San Antonio is an iconic cape located between the towns of Xàbia and Dénia. Both sites offer unique underwater landscapes and marine life to explore. Whether you are a beginner or haven't dived in a while, this activity is designed to make you feel comfortable and confident in the water.

How to get there

• Meeting place: Mon Diving

• Meeting time: 15 minutes before the start of the activity

• Car parks nearby: within a 5 minute walk (paid)

Requirements

• Minimum age: 12

• Swimming ability

• Physical health

• If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses

• For divers over the age of 12 years, we require a diving fitness certificate from a doctor
