What to Expect

Discover the south of Basse Terre on the slopes of La Soufrière during our sporty canyoning trip in Saint Claude! The adventure starts with a short 5-minute drive to our starting point, followed by gearing up with all necessary equipment. A 30-minute hike through lush landscapes sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. You will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will make sure you feel safe and confident throughout the tour.

Once we reach the canyon, the true excitement begins. Over the next 3 hours, you will encounter a variety of obstacles that make canyoning so thrilling. Expect to abseil down a 30-metre drop, take on jumps ranging from 3 to 8 metres, and enjoy a 7-metre natural slide. If you're not comfortable with the high jumps, do not worry—there are ways around them. The Vauchelet waterfalls on the Noire River offer all the facets of the activity, making it a comprehensive and exhilarating experience.

After conquering the canyon, the adventure doesn’t end there. The return journey involves a 45-minute hike along a river, giving you time to soak in the beautiful surroundings and reflect on the day’s achievements. This half-day sporty descent is situated just a few minutes away from the famous Bains Jaunes, making it an ideal choice for those seeking both adventure and natural beauty in one trip.
