Join our boat trip from Tromsø through the breathtaking Ramfjord. Starting from Tromsø, the third-largest city within the Arctic Circle, you will head south to the scenic Ramfjord, which is notable for its distinctive 90-degree bend and rich history, including a Cold War facility. The fjord, which freezes in winter due to freshwater inflows, offers a unique landscape that is sure to captivate your senses.
During the trip, we will also cruise past snow-covered mountains and landmarks like the iconic Arctic Cathedral. The boat is equipped with comfortable seating and a covered area, making it an ideal way to explore the stunning landscapes of Northern Norway.
A visit to the local fishing facility is also part of the program. Here, you will learn about the importance of fishing in Northern Norway and fish processing. Our knowledgeable guides will show you the traditional and famous drying racks used to make 'stockfish' and give you a deeper insight into the fish processing industry. You will even get to try a little taste of the very products that were produced here and are still being made.
Throughout the journey, our personal guides will share their knowledge of local culture, history and nature, while looking out for wildlife such as seals, dolphins, white-tailed eagles or other seabirds. To round it all off, we use the underwater drone to explore the hidden world underneath the surface of the ocean.
