Ski beginners between 6 and 14 years are at the right place in our kids ski lessons in Zermatt. The skiing career is still young and together with people of the same age, it is particularly easy to get into skiing.
The beginner-friendly slopes on Riffelberg are ideal for learning the basics of skiing quickly and safely. Thanks to playful exercises, the young skiers first learn the snowplough position, in which they master their first descents. Those who already feel confident can also attempt their first parallel turns. At the end of the course, all participants receive a book of the Swiss Snow League in which their personal progress is noted.
In small groups of a maximum of 8 participants, our professional instructors can give each child the attention they need and promote rapid learning progress. Every Friday, the young skiers have the opportunity to show what they have learned in a ski race with prize-giving.

Important Information
- Please remember that we are skiing in high mountains where warm clothing, mittens, goggles, sunscreen and lip protection are a must.
- During our courses, we are always wearing a helmet (available for rent at one of the local sports shops).
We had a really nice ski instructor. Lino took great care of us and apparently explained things in a way that was easy for the children to understand, because after four days we were totally surprised at how well our daughter was doing on skis.

Gabriel was a fantastic instructor. My daughter has learned a lot that week and loved it. He was patient, kind and fun.
The ski trainer, Mathias, was super friendly, and our son thought so too. The course took place in a manageable size of 6-8 children. What I didn't know about previous ski courses: At the end of the course we received a booklet (also as an online version) that recorded what was practiced, what the child can already do and whether they are ready for the next level.
