In our kids ski lessons in Zermatt all young skiers between 4 and 5 years experience unforgettable adventures with our friendly mascot Snowli. With lots of fun and games, the first steps on the slopes will be easy.
In an area of 3,500 m², our smallest guests will find the ideal playground for their first skiing experiences in our Snowli Kids Village Riffelberg. With the help of colourful fantasy characters, magic carpets, a carousel and children's ski lifts, the kids ski lessons become a real pleasure for the little ones.
In small groups of maximum 8 children, our professional instructors can give each child the attention they need and promote rapid learning progress. Your children will start by getting to know the equipment and then take their first steps on skis. By the end of the course, they will already be able to ski parallel fall lines and make their first changes of direction from the fall line. Every Friday, the young skiers have the opportunity to show what they have learned in a ski race with prize-giving.
Meeting Time & Pick up
For our kids ski lessons in Zermatt, we meet at the tourist office next to the train station. Please be on time because our children's train to our Snowli Kids Village will leave shortly after. You can pick up your children either at 3 pm at the Riffelberg train station or 45 minutes later in the village at the Zermatt train station.
For the 2-hour lessons (half day), the children must be picked up at Riffelberg.
Lunch Break
If you book the option including meal, our snow sports instructors are happy to look after your children in the Riffelhaus mountain restaurant. A delicious lunch with drinks is included.
Ski pass
Kids until 9 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons. Please be aware that you need a ski pass to bring your kid to the meeting point. You can buy the ski pass before the first lesson at the lift station.
Important Information
- Please remember that we are skiing in high mountains where warm clothing, mittens, goggles, sunscreen and lip protection are a must.
- During our courses, we are always wearing a helmet (available for rent at one of the local sports shops).
