What to Expect

Leave Side behind and drive into the picturesque countryside with us during our day trip visiting the historic Ormana Village and the stunning Altinbesik Cave in the Taurus Mountains. Our first stop is Avasun, also known as the village of bay leaves. Here, you can stroll through the charming streets and take in the aroma of the abundant bay leaves that give the village its name.

Next, we stop to take in the views over the Green Canyon and Green Lake, where you can enjoy the serene landscape and capture some memorable photos. In the village of Ürünlü, you will learn about the distinctive button houses, an architectural curiosity famous in this area, and enjoy a tea or coffee break at a traditional house.

One of the highlights of the tour is the visit to the Altinbesik Cave National Park, where you will take a boat ride on a subterranean lake and see the impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations in the Golden Cradle Cavern. In Ormana village, you will find more of these unique button houses and enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, our tour concludes with a visit to Sarihacilar köyü, a village on the Silk Road. Here, you will visit a traditional house and a spectacular 650-year-old Ottoman mosque, a testament to the region's rich history.
