What to Expect

Embark on a thrilling thermal tandem paragliding adventure from Neustift im Stubaital, where you will ride the mountain breezes and float gracefully over awe-inspiring alpine vistas with a skilled pilot by your side. Your journey starts at the Parafly Flight School, conveniently located at the landing area, offering parking, restrooms, and refreshments right in front of the shop for our tandem guests. After a comfortable ride on the Elferbahn to the launch site, your pilot will provide final instructions, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for your unforgettable flight.

At the launch site, you will get geared up with the flight equipment while your pilot prepares the canopy. With just a few big steps, you will be airborne, gliding silently through the valley and enjoying around 30-40 minutes of breathtaking views of the Stubai Alps. If the thermal conditions are ideal, you will experience a stunning panoramic flight that will definitely get your heart racing. The landing is smooth, right in front of our shop, where your family and friends can watch from below and relax in our chill-out area. To make your experience even more memorable, your pilot will give you a flight certificate. You can also choose to add video and photos to your flight on-site. We look forward to giving you an unparalleled perspective of the Stubai Valley and providing you with an adventure you will never forget!

Tour programme

Meeting & Preparation:

Meet at Parafly Flight School, from where we will then head to the Elferbahn. Please be there 15 minutes early.

Start & Flight:

See the mountains surrounding Neustift im Stubaital. Your flight will be 30 to 40 minutes long, covering an altitude of roughly 1,000 to 2,000 meters.

After Landing:

Land back at our flight school where you will receive your Flight diploma and can enjoy refreshing drinks.

• Car parks nearby: at the meeting place (free)

• Pick up service available for groups of 4 or more, available for a surcharge and to be paid on site

• Complete flight equipment: tandem paraglider, harnesses and helmet

Not Included

• Lift ticket, to be paid on site in cash or by card

Additional Services

• Photos and videos (to be paid on site €30, only upon request)

Requirements

• Minimum weight: 40 kg

• Maximum weight: 130 kg

• Minimum age: 15 years

• Physical ability: being able to run on a gentle slope for a few steps

Bring Along

• Sunscreen

• Money for the lift ticket

• Summer: long pants and jacket

• Winter: skiing pants and winter jacket or ski suit, and gloves

• Camera (at own risk)

• Solid footwear (ankle-high hiking boots recommended)

Good to Know

• Not suitable for people with bad heart conditions

• Not recommended for people who suffer from any back problems, or had any back operations

• Not suitable for pregnant women

• Not suitable for people with serious medical conditions

• If you want to bring your camera on the paragliding trip, please note that it is at your own risk

• If the thermals don't allow it, this will be a breathtaking panoramic flight
