About the Activity

What to Expect

Experience the magic of Iceland with our unforgettable Northern Lights and whale watching boat trip from Reykjavik. This unique adventure combines the mesmerizing beauty of the Aurora Borealis with the thrill of whale watching, offering you two of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders in one journey.

In the evening, we will adventure into the darkness away from the city lights for a spectacular 2-3 hour Northern Lights tour. You’ll have the perfect vantage point to witness the breathtaking Aurora Borealis dance across the sky. Before the Northern Lights show begins, enjoy a morning or afternoon whale watching experience. Spend 2-3.5 hours in Faxaflói Bay, where you might encounter Minke and Humpback whales, playful dolphins, Harbour porpoises, and even rare Killer whales. You’ll also enjoy beautiful coastal views, including Reykjavik’s stunning mountains and picturesque islands.

Onboard, comfort is a priority with heated cabins, free WiFi, and a bar for refreshments. We also provide warm overalls for outdoor viewing to keep you cozy as you take in the incredible sights. This combined experience is the ultimate Icelandic adventure, blending the excitement of whale watching with the peaceful beauty of the Northern Lights, making it perfect for nature lovers, families, and travelers seeking a complete Icelandic experience.
