What to Expect

Our private snowboard lessons for first-timers of all ages provide the perfect introduction to snowboarding on the slopes of Sestriere! There is nothing quite like the thrill of gliding down a mountain, breathing in the crisp alpine air, and experiencing the joy of learning to snowboard in one of Europe’s top destinations. Sestriere, with its stunning alpine views and perfectly groomed beginner-friendly slopes, is the ideal setting for anyone’s first snowboarding experience.

Each lesson starts with a warm welcome from one of our expert instructors, who will guide you or your child through an enjoyable, beginner-focused session designed to build confidence and excitement. The primary focus is on mastering the fundamentals: learning to balance, control the board, make gentle turns, and become familiar with the equipment. With the help of the resort’s magic carpet, beginners will move at a comfortable pace, progressing smoothly over gentle slopes that are perfect for practising and developing control and balance.

Our instructors are dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment where first-timers feel at ease. By the end of the lesson, each participant will have taken their first steps in snowboarding with confidence, leaving them ready and excited about their next day on the slopes!

Meeting Time

We meet at the wooden sign of the Sestriere Borgata Ski School, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.
