What to Expect

Our adults skiing courses are perfect, whether you already have experience or if also if you ski for the very first time. With our experienced ski instructors, you are in safe hands. In groups of no more than 8 people, we will match you with people who are at a more or less similar level to you. Our certified instructors will give you advice and keys to help you improve quickly, while adapting to your level. From learning the basics of skiing and making your first turns to mastering more advanced techniques, each lesson is tailored to ensure you progress confidently.

The course begins with a brief introduction to your equipment, where you will learn how to handle and adjust it correctly. This is essential for your safety and comfort on the slopes. Next, you will practice on beginner-friendly slopes, focusing on the basics of balance and posture. As you gain confidence, our instructors will guide you through more challenging slopes to help you refine your technique and control. You will then move on to learning to parallel ski, which is a key skill for more fluid and efficient skiing.

If you book the lessons for the whole week, there will be no class on Wednesday because on Thursday the group will go on a day trip to Italy. The return journey is scheduled around 16:30. You also have the option to book a 3-day lessons from Sunday until Tuesday, but the trip to Italy is not included in this option.

At 1,850 meters above sea level, La Rosière is a stunning south-facing ski resort offering breathtaking views across the valley. This offer is ideal for adults of all levels.

Meeting Time

We meet at the Roches Noires chairlift, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 15 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Cash or card

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Ski equipment and helmet

• Sun cream

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 4 participants

• Please make sure you have skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• For those who pick the 5 or 6 days option, there will be no classes on Wednesday.

• The group will go on a day trip to Italy. Please remember to bring money for the Thursday lunch.
