At the exit of the Grand-Signal - Arnouva gondolas' lift, from Montana, in our reception area (Kids Club Welcoming)
Swiss Mountain Sports offers courses for children (10 to 17 years old) focused on competition.
Introduction to ski racing, slalom, and giant skiing - unprepared snow skiing - technique and position - free skiing and personal corrections - video analysis and debriefing workshop
We meet from Montana (Arnouva) at the Kids Club Welcoming, 25 minutes before the start of the lesson.
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
This course is for children and teenagers from 10 to 17 years old.
The course is focused on competition and covers an introduction to ski racing, slalom, and giant skiing, skiing on unprepared snow, technique and position, free skiing with personal corrections, as well as video analysis and a debriefing workshop.
The lessons are held in small groups with a maximum of 5 participants.
The meeting point is at the Kids Club Welcoming in Montana (Arnouva).
You should arrive at the meeting point 25 minutes before the start of the lesson.
