What to Expect

Set out on an unforgettable snowmobile adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of the Lyngen Alps, just outside Tromsø! This guided trip immerses you in the stunning Arctic scenery of northern Norway, offering an exhilarating way to experience the region. Your day begins with a convenient pick-up from Tromsø's city center, followed by a scenic drive to Aurora Wonderland Basecamp, featuring a short ferry ride with spectacular views of the Lyngen Alps.

Once at the basecamp, you'll be outfitted with all the necessary snowmobiling gear, including suits, boots, and helmets. After a safety briefing and an introduction to operating the snowmobiles from our experienced guide, you’ll be ready to hit the trails. Embark on an adrenaline-filled journey, cruising through snowy paths and open fields, with pauses along the way to soak in the serene Arctic landscape and capture stunning photos. After your ride, unwind at the basecamp with a warm expedition meal before heading back to Tromsø, carrying memories of this incredible Arctic adventure.

• Liability insurance is required to participate in the activity

• Warm and active clothes such as fleece, thermal underwear, woolen socks and water bottle

Good to Know

• It is only possible to rent 6 snowmobiles at a time

• The driver is responsible for any damages caused to the snowmobile

• Please note that this activity requires a minimum of 4 participants to take place. If this number is not reached, we will contact you to reschedule the activity or give you a refund

• In case bad weather prevents the activity from taking place, you will receive a full refund or be able to reschedule the activity

• Snowmobiles are driven in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile (even if you book as one person). You will have plenty of opportunities to switch places during the adventure.

• The snowmobiles are insured with a liability of up to 980 EUR. That means the driver will have to pay up to 980 EUR on the spot to cover damages caused by the driver. Following the rules set by the tour guides will greatly reduce the risk of damage

• The pickup time from Tromsø and the drop-off time in Tromsø can be subject to change, therefore please plan for some extra time between activities and/or travel plans.
